ENTMV (Entreprise Nationale de Transport Maritime de Voyageurs) is created by an ordinance in 1987. In 1990 takes the status of Public Enterprise.
ENTMV has 3 ships owned and 2 rental during high season and an organization Ticket sales on the Algerian territory and Europe. More than 1400 people working with Algerie Ferries of which about 900 are crewmembers on board.

Tariq Ibn Ziyad - 1270 pax, 500 cars, speed 21 kn, length 153 mt.
Tassili II - 1320 pax, 300 cars, speed 23 kn, length 146 mt.

Recently entered into service, these modern units offer twin high standards with supply of services, as well as allowing a significant reduction in crossing time.
