Sardinian Regional Maritime S.p.A. (Saremar) manages the public service
line between Sardinia, Corsica and the smaller islands. Established since 1988 work, in particular, the links between S. Teresa di Gallura
and Bonifacio, between Palau and La Maddalena Island, among and between Carlisle and Calasetta
Carlisle and Portovesme. On the latter trafficking is the only carrier, as well as is
the only one to operate on the line for Corsica in the five months of winter low season.
